I got the arrangement from one of the old music books I have.Recorded at the home of 'sutterchip' Chip. Mason and Hamlin Pianos are considered by many to be one of the best instruments ever produced. Thought it would be cool to hear it on a real piano. These bars are adjusted at the factory to a specific tension and should NEVER be adjusted in the field. These bars are tensioned at the factory to help retain the case structure of the piano, and in theory, help retain the crown of the soundboard. Sometimes called the “spider” under the soundboard, these steel bars are fixed into the rim and belly of the piano, which are all connected by a center “hub”. Mason and Hamlin Pianos are set apart by their patented Tension Resonator System (right).
